Service Line 02

From blueprint
to operational AI

We translate your audit findings into working systems — delivered by a curated network of senior engineers, managed by Cognitech end to end. One point of contact. Fixed milestones. Measurable results.

Engagement formats

The right scale for your ambition

Implementations range from targeted single-workflow automation to full multi-department AI integration programmes.

Workflow Automation

One focused process automated and deployed. Ideal for teams validating AI before committing to broader change.

  • Single workflow scoped from audit
  • 4–8 week delivery sprint
  • Integration into existing tools
  • Handover + team onboarding
Enterprise-Wide Integration

AI embedded across every revenue-impacting process. Reserved for operators committing to category leadership.

  • Multi-department scope
  • 6–12 month phased programme
  • Dedicated project lead
  • Quarterly executive reviews
  • Ongoing optimisation retainer
The process

Four phases. One clear path.

01

Scoping & Architecture

We translate the AI Audit roadmap into a technical architecture document. Data sources, integration points, tooling stack, and team ownership are all defined before a single line of code is written.

02

Build & Configure

Our partner network engineers build the solution in sprints, with weekly demos. You retain full visibility — Cognitech stays between you and the technical team so you always have one point of contact.

03

Deploy & Validate

Parallel run alongside existing systems. KPIs from the audit are used as the live acceptance criteria — we do not sign off a deployment until the target metrics are confirmed in production.

04

Handover & Embed

Full documentation, runbooks, and a training session for every team that owns the system. Your people understand what you've built, and you're not dependent on us to keep it running.

The delivery model

Senior engineers. One accountability layer.

Cognitech operates a vetted partner network of independent senior developers and specialist agencies — each with 5+ years of applied AI and integration experience.

Compliant delivery
  • Cognitech selects and manages the partner team — you never deal with sub-contractors directly
  • All partners are bound by the same confidentiality and data-handling obligations as Cognitech itself
  • Contracts remain between you and Cognitech — no ambiguity on accountability
  • Partners are chosen per project scope: ML engineers, integration specialists, data architects, or automation developers as needed
  • All work is delivered under GDPR-compliant data handling standards
What you receive

Every implementation ships complete

Technical Architecture Document

Full spec of the system built — data flows, integration points, API dependencies, and fallback logic. Yours to keep, share with future engineers, or use as the basis for the next phase.

Validated Production Deployment

Working code in your environment, tested against the KPIs defined at audit. No staging-only handovers — the system is live and confirmed before the engagement closes.

Operational Runbook

Step-by-step instructions for daily operation, monitoring, incident response, and routine maintenance. Written for your team, not for engineers — plain-language and process-mapped.

Team Training Session

A live walkthrough with every team that owns the system — how to use it, what to watch, and what to do when something unexpected happens. Recorded for your onboarding library.

Common questions

What clients ask before they start

Yes, in virtually all cases. The AI Audit produces the scope document, data assessment, risk register, and ROI projections that become the implementation blueprint. The only exception is clients who come with a fully detailed technical spec already in hand, which we will review at the discovery call.
Your contract is with Cognitech Solutions — not with our partner engineers. Single accountability point, single invoice, single escalation path. If a partner underperforms, Cognitech is responsible for resolution. All partners sign our standard NDA and data-handling agreement before touching any client environment.
We are tool-agnostic and recommend based on your existing stack and risk profile. Common environments include OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, and Mistral for LLM layers; n8n, Make, and Zapier for workflow automation; custom Python/FastAPI services for production ML pipelines; and standard ERP/CRM integration layers.
Scope changes go through a formal change-control process — no work is added without a written change order signed by both parties. If timelines slip due to Cognitech's delivery, we absorb the cost. Milestones and acceptance criteria are defined in the contract before any work begins.
Yes. Most implementations involve working alongside an existing IT function and integrating with an ERP — SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar. We map those integration points during the Scoping phase and agree on access protocols with your IT lead before any work begins.
All Cognitech implementations are delivered with GDPR compliance built into the architecture from Phase 1. We assess data handling, storage, and processing requirements during the Audit phase and apply the corresponding technical and documentation requirements throughout the build. High-risk system deployments include a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) as part of the deliverable package.
